It's hard to believe it is already August. Finley turned 5 months old yesterday (the 5th). Almost a half year old. :) This summer has flown by it seems. The weather has been interesting, which I think is a good thing. One big change for us this summer (besides having a baby) was to get airconditioning in our house. Hallelujah! It was the first summer in five years that we didn't suffer indoors of heat exhaustion. The dogs are thankful too!
Finley is doing great. She is a wiggle worm and likes to move as much as she is able to. She loves to roll and attempts to scoot around. She's still a happy girl and loves to smile and laugh with people.
She started eating rice cereal once a day on August 1st. She likes to try and feed herself with the spoon. We let her "help" since it seems to keep her more interested than just sitting back and letting us do the work. All in all we are doing well. Here are some recent pictures.

awww, what a little sweetie. I love how she is trying to take over feeding herself. That is good stuff. The picture of them in the stroller is hilarious. Aren't these little girls so much fun?
